Origin Story
Ripmoar was started as a side project among three friends who reignited their love for Pokemon after catching the Pokemon bug. Ripping packs became an obsession, and the adrenaline rush from pulling an amazing card was incredible. Eventually, Ripmoar was born!
We really want to bring the retro vibes and schoolyard memories to our app, a fun atmosphere and light-heartedness for casual collectors while providing data for the more serious collectors. Our goal is to be fun and functional at the same time. Our scanner uses AI technology to provide up-to-date and accurate information for all levels of collectors.
Gone are the days where you have to keep track of what's in your play deck; with our organization function, you can keep all your decks organized and ready for action whenever a new challenger comes along! Having your collection at the palm of your hand so you can show off to your friends at anytime is a good time to us!

MATT
Founder and CEO
A self-proclaimed degen above all else. AI, Blockchain, Crypto, Pokemon—this guy knows it all. Always churning ideas, he came up with Ripmoar after many pack ripping sessions with Lam and Randy. The addiction hit hard and fast; next thing you know, he's pulled four Charizards from the Pokemon 151 collection. One could say that Ripmoar was created from a recipe of FOMO with a sprinkle of addiction.
LAM
Head of Research and Development
A collector of many TCG's—Pokemon, MTG, Gundam, you name it, he's got it all! As a father of two, his goal is to build an environment where he can share his passion for collecting TCGs with his children and build wonderful memories. Aww!. Deemed the "marshmallow kid" of our team, Lam is never short of a pack and is always asking the team to have a pack ripping night. He's always ready to RIPMOAR.
RANDY
Head of Business Development
The OG collector on our team. Randy is no stranger to the trading card world. From sports cards to Pokemon to MTG, he's all about the value and investment. He is our voice for the hardcore collectors. His commitment always pays off — he has the best luck out of the team! Always channel your inner Randy if you want that top chase card!
CRYSTAL
Director of Operations
Loves all things cute and artistic. Crystal started collecting Sailor Moon cards as a child and maybe she's even more of an OG than Randy! The first time she set her eyes on an Asako Ito crochet Pokemon card, she was hooked. If only she can remember where her Sailor Moon cards are…
ABHI
Head of Growth and Marketing
The youngest member of our team and the one that keeps the rest of the team "relevant". Abhi is a huge One Piece fan and would take any opportunity to talk about One Piece with anyone who would listen. He mostly shares with Crystal because she has a terrible memory so he can repeat himself as many times as he wants!
DENNIS
Lead Growth Strategist
Also a content creator. Dennis has a great sense of humor and is always ready to keep the rest of the team in check with our goals. He's also always the first to appreciate all the work we do and would never say "no" when someone asks for help. One could say he's the Super Saiyan of our team because he's always ready for a challenge and to learn something new! Not to mention, Dragon Ball is his all-time favourite anime!
BYRON
Principal Engineer
The magician behind the app. Not much is known about Byron other than that he's the mysterious type. Rumors have it that he might be a vampire as he only works in the middle of the night, while others say he's just a regular software engineer. It's highly possible that he's a vampire who's ALSO a software engineer. We might never find out, but all we can confirm is that he just might be the most hardcore Pokemon card collector among us with his signed Pokemon card.
